Winston Churchill inspired me, says 79-year-old convicted of criminal damage after removing banner from outside Carnlough hotel

​A 79-year-old told a court he was a man of action like wartime prime minister Sir Winston Churchill and removed a banner in Carnlough because “I look after my environment and am very proud of my village”.
