Wetherspoon issues fourth profit warning on rising costs

British pub chain J D Wetherspoon has issued its fourth full-year profit warning in seven months, blaming marginally weaker-than-anticipated final-quarter sales and a surge in costs across food, labour, repairs, energy and business rates.
