Tourism industry to examine visitor numbers and spending

Ireland welcomed 3.9 million overseas visitors in the first seven months of 2026, a 13% increase on the same period last year, but tourism spending has yet to surpass 2024 levels, according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
