‘The Miniature Wife’ review: A man who locks his spouse in a dolls house is a great way to discuss what marriage does to women

It seems that The Miniature Wife is slightly invisible. At the time of writing, critics have not been rushing to review this new 10-part series on Sky Atlantic. But maybe that’s not a bad thing. The Miniature Wife is a strange mixture. For starters, it has Elizabeth Banks, who plays the author and literature professor Lindy Littlejohn, shrunk by her scientist husband, Les Littlejohn, played by Matthew Macfadyen.
