American business magazine Forbes featured some interesting purple prose when profiling Irish property developer Johnny Ronan back in 2012: "Black-bearded and pony-tailed like a badger on the prowl, Johnny Ronan became known as 'the Buccaneer' as he bought himself a €640,000 Maybach car to go with his blue Hummer and the pink palazzo expression of new wealth that Dublin wags dubbed 'Saddam’s Palace'’"
