Welcome to The Echo’s annual feature - Summer Soap. Now in its 11th year, Summer Soap is a daily fictional serial run over 10 parts, which begins today. Called The Lost Recipe, the story is a summer mystery with a romantic subplot and an underlying theme of food - and involves a search for a long-lost recipe.
