A status yellow weather warning has been issued for Clare. Met Éireann is warning of widespread heavy rain and thunderstorms across the entire country. The National Forecaster says possible impacts of include localised flooding, difficult travelling conditions and possible lightning and hail. The warning is valid from midday until 9pm Sunday.
