SNA who fell and broke wrist was ‘author of her own misfortune’ and must pay school’s €30,000 legal costs

A court has rejected a claim by a special needs assistant (SNA) that she fell and broke her wrist because she had been directed by a teacher to wear plastic bin liners over her shoes while crossing a mucky patch in the school grounds.
