Sligo Gardaí praised for the success of Operation Thor in decreasing the number of burglaries

The success of Operation Thor, which was first launched in 2015 has been praised following the publication of figures that reveal burglary levels have fallen by 80 percent nationally, with this winter recording the lowest number of residential burglaries in six years with local Gardaí praised for the considerable reduction in burglaries.
