Roscommon man helps develop thought-controlled wheelchair after brain implant

Roscommon native Eoin Egan (43) has helped develop a thought-controlled wheelchair, thanks to a pioneering brain implant. London based Eoin, who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) six years ago, is the only Irish person among just 23 worldwide with a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI).
