Real concern that Kerry goalkeeper Shane Ryan will miss all of the Munster Championship

There is real and growing concern that Shane Ryan will not play any part in Kerry’s Munster SFC title defence, while mystery surrounds an actual return date for the All Star goalkeeper. Best case scenario, it would seem, is that Ryan might be back in the team for the start of the All-Ireland series, which for Kerry – assuming they reach the provincial final – will begin on the weekend of May 23/24. Worst casse scenario doesn’t really bear thinking about.
