Proposal to make busy Gorey junction left-hand turn only met with overwhelmingly negative response

A proposal to create a left-hand only turn at a busy Gorey road has been met with an overwhelmingly negative public response according to local councillors. Earlier this year, Wexford County Council (WCC) revealed plans to make Church Street in the middle of the town a left-hand only turn but, at the monthly meeting of the Gorey Kilmuckridge Municipal District (GKMD), the wisdom of this proposal was questioned by several councillors.
