This week’s documentary Speechless (BBC Four, Tuesday, April 14, 10pm) will leave you feeling angry, confused, frustrated, bewildered, exhausted, depressed, occasionally amused by some of the ridiculousness on display, and relieved you’re not living in America right now – assuming you even needed another reason to be relieved.
