Obituary: Gordon Snell, husband of Maeve Binchy and prolific writer of children’s books, who also scripted episodes of RTÉ’s ‘Wanderly Wagon’

Best known as the husband of the late writer Maeve Binchy, Gordon Snell was an accomplished children’s author in his own right and a well-known figure in his adopted town of Dalkey, Co Dublin. He died last Wednesday, aged 93.
