Newcastle boating pond pollution fear

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council has confirmed the presence of faecal matter and E.Coli in the ‘Boating Pond’ of the Shimna River in Newcastle amid an expert warning on the dangers of human and animal contact with contaminated waters.
