Nearly a third of service stations could run out of fuel by end of day - as public asked to only purchase fuel that they need

A meeting of the National Emergency Coordination Group heard more than 100 garages have no fuel and this number could rise to 500 by the end of the day. In total, there are about 1,500 service stations nationwide.
