Linkedin to cut 5% of global staff - media reports

LinkedIn is preparing to announce layoffs today, according to Reuters and Bloomberg. The Microsoft-owned social network plans to cut about 5% of staff as it reorganises teams and focuses employees on areas where its business is growing, said one of the Reuters' sources, on condition of anonymity.
