Katriona O’Sullivan: My children would say that I love them, but I do not think they would describe me as nurturing – and I feel bad about that

I recently read an article published by King’s College London which found that 54pc of Irish respondents to a European survey believe that women are “naturally better” at childcare than men. I wasn’t surprised by this. It has always been assumed that women are more nurturing than men.
