Ireland's ancient sport could become cultural treasure with Unesco World Heritage status

The ancient Irish sport of Road Bowling, thought to have been brought to Ireland by Dutch soldiers during the Williamite Wars, could take its first step toward UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage recognition.
