Inside Track: John McIntyre's review of inter-county season

NOW that the dust has settled on the 2026 inter-county GAA season, it's time to reflect on the highs and lows of a summer which saw the Limerick hurlers reclaim top status in the championship and Mayo footballers end a 75-year All-Ireland famine on a unforgettable day at Croke Park. Here are my highlights and a couple of big disappointments.
