‘Increased illumination’ at crossings on Wexford Quay will make life safer for pedestrians and motorists alike

Lighting at the three pedestrian crossings on Wexford Quay is to be significantly upgraded as the county council focuses on improving safety for pedestrians during the dark winter months. Over €60,000 is to be spent on “substantially increasing illumination” at all three crossings along the Quay resulting in higher visibility for all road users.
