IDA and EI will no longer need ministerial sign-off to back defence-linked firms, under proposed legal changes

Planned new legislation will mean that the IDA, Enterprise Ireland and other development agencies will no longer have to secure government approval before they support companies that are involved in military-related commercial activities.
