Govt should 'rethink' promises before budget - Opposition

Opposition parties have claimed the Government's summer economic statement and future spending plans "don't add up", saying the coalition should "re-think" its policy promises before the 6 October budget and labelling the potential spending as "McCreevy economics all over again".
