Government to face ‘substantial pay demands’ from unions over soaring inflation, teachers’ conference hears

The Government was slated for "a massive breach of faith" by Ireland's biggest teachers' union over an eight month delay in paying promised allowances as they were warned substantial new pay claims are now on the horizon over spiralling inflation.
