Galen joins County Armagh family in call for greater awareness of rare genetic condition PKU

Around one in 4,000 babies born in Northern Ireland are diagnosed with PKU, a rare inherited condition which prevents the body from breaking down an essential amino acid found in all proteins, and which is detected through routine newborn screening.
