The GAA spent €4.6 million on astro developments and pitches for clubs last year. Another €6.1 million on county grounds, €15.2 million for coaching, €19.9 million in grants for county teams and €8 million for an injury fund. There is no ideology in those figures, simply a bill. And somebody has to pay it
