From sacked minister to CAP negotiator: Barry Cowen at centre of EU CAP talks

Fianna Fáil MEP and former Agriculture Minister Barry Cowen “regrets” how he was fired from his post six years ago but says both he and the party have “ultimately learned from the experience,” as now he is one of three lead negotiators working on the next Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
