Family affair as Declan and Sean Dowling’s Jaypees Cooper wins Killeacle Dowling A1 final at Tralee track

Thanks to exceptionally generous sponsorship provided by the Dowling family, prize money totalled €18,145 at Tralee track on Friday night and, very much against the odds, the biggest portion of it, €5,000, was won by an 8/1 outsider which had deep Dowling involvement through Declan Dowling, the former Racing and Commercial Manager at the Oakview venue, and his son, Sean.
