Families dig for survivors as ‘barbaric’ Israeli strikes kill more hundreds of people across Lebanon

Yesterday was the deadliest day in Lebanon in more than five weeks of war between Israel and Hezbollah, as rescue workers in Beirut and elsewhere searched for survivors and bodies and Israel warned of escalation.
