Excise cuts for farmers and diesel rebate for hauliers on table as Government in 'panic' over fuel blockade

Excise duty cuts on agricultural diesel along with relief on diesel and carbon tax rebate schemes are being considered by the Government as ministers head into more crunch talks in a desperate bid to end the blockade on the country’s fuel supply.
