DUP councillor suspended over 'LGBTQIA alphabet soup' comments - as watchdog deems remarks 'personally hurtful'

A DUP councillor has been handed a three month suspension by the local government standards watchdog over comments about supporters of “LGBTQIA alphabet soup agenda” being the same people who “defend” Hamas.
