Dog Day Afternoon review: Jon Bernthal is a force of nature in uneven Broadway adaptation

Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach have both garnered recent acclaim and Emmy awards for their respective turns as Michael and Cousin Richie in the FX series The Bear. Now, the two partner up again for the first Broadway adaptation of the 1975 Oscar-nominated classic film, Dog Day Afternoon (August Wilson Theatre, 245 W 52nd Street, New York).
