CRO crackdown targets directors and liquidators of thousands of firms over failure to file annual returns

After years of being able to dodge their legal responsibilities, the Companies Registration Office (CRO) has pledged to begin prosecuting companies and directors from later this year for failing to file their annual returns on time.
