Coroner warns of the hazards of sea swimming after tragic drowning of boy (8) on Co Sligo beach

It was described as a ‘beautiful, hot, sunny’ day in May but it ended in tragedy following the drowning of a Ballisodare boy who visited a local beach with his sister, friend and a woman looking after him.
