Colin Murphy: On O’Connell Street, far-right actors are hitching their wagons to the tractors
O’Connell Street at rush hour on Wednesday evening had a dishevelled, but carnival air, like the final day of a Spanish fiesta. The protesting drivers were standing around, bored. Tourists were stopping to take photos. Dubliners were trying to get home. There was a smattering of Tricolours and Irish Republic flags.
