April is the peak season for households across the UK to take part in spring cleaning, with searches for “spring cleaning” increasing by more than 5,000% in the past month. In Belfast, many residents are also taking part in the seasonal clear-out. While that “clean” feeling might be satisfying, blindly decluttering could create huge amounts of unnecessary waste, as well as accidentally costing households hundreds or even thousands of pounds.
