Ask Not…

I have always felt that JFK got it wrong in 1961 when he advised people to “Ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.” I believe it is perfectly reasonable and proper for people to ask what their country can do for them, and this applies particularly in countries such as Northern Ireland, where there is a choice between two nationalities.
