This is, as the subtitle says, A True Story of Death and Glamour – and yet, the full or actual truth remains, tantalisingly, out of reach. Fiction can wrap everything up in a neat bow. Reality, unfortunately and ­maybe ironically, is messier, murkier more ambiguous.
