Additional €500,000 in funding to protect 14 Wexford houses from severe coastal erosion
Over half a million in government funding has been allocated for coastal protection works in Co Wexford as the Office of Public Works (OPW) continues its efforts to preserve 14 houses at risk of being lost to the sea. Announced by OPW Minister Kevin ‘Boxer’ Moran, the €500,535 in funding will enhance rock armour and coastal protection works fronting an access road which serves the houses at Seaview near Kilmore Quay.
